My youngest boy played football for the Bulldogs “Black” team this year with his best friend of three years.  This capture was before a big game.  Looking at this image, I can’t help but look forward to these boys growing up together, becoming young men together, and many more football games over the years, and those two looking up into the stands, then over at one another, as they take the field.

My entry for this week is one of my all time favorites. I had the pleasure of working with an amazing couple who've been married for over forty years. And on top of that, they are still so much in love...and that was evident in every picture I took of them. They were so much fun to work with, and such an inspiring couple.

Love this blog I just found.  Well, I didn’t find it…but, I stumbled on someone who found it. 

Photographers Blog:  A place for photographers.  I have yet to peruse all of their pages, but, on this lazy snow  ice-day, I have time on my hands to do just that! 

I followed the link to their giveaway on a great little prop place for newborn photography.  Sweet Pea Hats. 

The only thing that would’ve made this picture…

any cuter…is if she’d been wearing one of Sweet Pea Hats hats!!!

I definitely had a hard time choosing just one, but, I have always loved this capture of my baby boy…

 
Love those freckles on his nose.  Love those tiny teeth.  Love those sparkling eyes.  Love those sweaty curls.  LOVE that open mouthed grin!

Yesterday, I posted some of baby L’s pics from her newborn session.  We also captured some great pics of her and her super proud big brother…

This next pic is why I love being a photographer….

This was one of those unscripted moments…sublime moments…that I just love and long to capture.  I didn’t prompt big brother to do this, and can only imagine what he told his new baby sister…but, it was just perfectly sweet.  Made my heart swell, and they aren’t even mine!!

Big brother was such a big helper and even captured some of his own moments, on his camera…

 
There isn’t much that’s more beautiful than a mother and her newborn…

Sweet baby L…

Probably one of my favorite newborn sessions.  She was cooperative, sleepy, and had the cutest little cheeks!  So gorgeous…
